Evangel Temple's 50th Anniversary
The first thing the Lord said to me in this church was "Things are not what they seem to be" He said "Open your eyes, and look around, because things are not what they seem to be" Well, it took a few days, but people's words and actions confirmed the word of the Lord.
Ministering in the nations is not an easy thing, I spend a lot of money, and fly thousands to miles to make these trips happen. Not to mention the personal, family, and business sacrifices that have to be made. My wife say's "it's not easy being married to you, but I make the sacrifices because of the ministry". You see I don't just show up in a meeting, but I spend days locked away seeking the Lord, to hear clearly what the Holy Spirit is saying.
Many times the Lord would take a verse of scripture out of it's immediate context, and quicken it to me as an inspirational message, and that is what I would preach. But make no mistake. The message that I preach is according to the bible, it may not always agree with denominational teachings, and man's traditions, but if you study your bible, you will see that it is in line with sound apostolic doctrine.
The Lord moved powerfully in the meetings in spite of some human, and demonic hindrances. Jesus still touched people's lives. Because of the time restrictions I was only able to pray for a few people who had never received a prophetic word before. But the Lord confirmed His word with signs following.
The Lord was just revealing the secrets of people's hearts. They kept asking "how do you know that", I told them that God is the one who reveals secrets. The first woman I prayed for, the Lord said "I am going to use this woman in healing, she is going to put her right hand on people, and they will be healed" . When I began to minister to her she said that she was having pain, guess where, in her right hand. Why?. Because the devil always tries to fight what God is about to do. I broke that attack, and ministered to her in the name of Jesus.
The list goes on: one person needed strength, another needed to change her position. I asked one young woman if she was having pain in her belly, in astonishment she said "yes, how do you know that". Friends we must realize that Jesus is alive. He knows everything about us, and He desperately want's to help us.
I also prayed for a young unsaved married couple, who was visiting the church. They were just overwhelmed by the presence of God, and began to sob and weep as the Lord revealed what was in their hearts. Jesus also revealed the name of their unborn child. The husband was in shock as he blurted out "that's the name my wife wants for our baby, that's the name" This precious couple repented of their sins, and gave their lives to Jesus Christ. Two more souls for the Kingdom. Thank you Jesus. The trip was worth it.
